Review: Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara!

New At The Drugstore!

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
I haven't tried a new mascara in what seems like forever! As soon as I saw this packaging I was sold haha. The Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara is about $8 at the drugstore and claims to lift the lashes while adding volume with a new plumping formula. Sounds pretty good right? Let's get into the review! :-)
Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
So there's no doubt that the packaging is pretty cool! So different and eye catching which is what you need in the drugstore world. The wand is unique, lots of tiny bristles which are meant to provide the volume for your lashes.

Here's what my lashes look like with two coats! On the site it says not to let the mascara dry between coats so I applied it one after another. It clumped up my lashes a bit making me look like I had less. It did add length and I love how black it is! You have to take some time to wiggle through your lashes to avoid major clumping but they do look voluminous. I adore how it looks on my lower lashes and I'd wear it with more dramatic looks! It's a bit too clumpy for my liking for everyday but it's not a bad formula. It's a wet formula so maybe when it dries a little I might change my mind. We'll see! ;-)

Bottom line: If you like the spidery look this would be your match! It's definitely worth a try and it does amazing things for my bottom lashes! It holds your curl so well and it doesn't flake off like other mascaras. Thumbs up! :-)

Swatches: Wet N Wild Here's to the Wild Ones Fall 2015 Lipsticks!

Vampy Shades Anyone? :-)

Wet N Wild Here's to the Wild Ones Fall 2015 Lipsticks
Wet n Wild Lipsticks are some of my favorite from the drugstore, especially the limited edition fall collections! I was cruising through Walgreens a few weeks back and came across the "Here's to the Wild Ones" Fall 2015 Collection. Immediately the lipsticks called my name! There's 6 shades in the line but I only picked up the three that stood out to me. They were less than $3 and just as amazing as my other Wet n Wild lippies! ;-)

Here are the swatches... gorgeous and perfect for fall! If you haven't tried the Megalast line you're missing out. They are creamy lippies that last all day! They are super comfortable and truly feel more expensive than they really are.

*Coffee Buzz- definetely a must have! It's a unique shade, a deep plum with some brown in it, a fall staple for sure!
*Vintage Vibe- my favorite shade! Reminds me a lot of Mac's Rebel lipstick. I can see myself wearing this one at least once a week haha.
*Photobomb- another different shade, the perfect mix between red and brown. Can't wait to rock it with some winged liner!

If you've been looking for some new fall lippies these are amazing! Check them out next time you're at Walgreens! :-)

Dupe Alert: Affordable Dupes to the Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadows! ( Thrasher & Raw Power!)

Great Formulas!

Affordable Dupes to the Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadows
Today's post is really exciting because I found an affordable alternative to the Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadows! :-) I have a review on the Metal Crush Eyeshadows so if you want to know more about them click here! They are an amazingly pigmented gorgeous metallic shadow but they are $21 each which can get expensive really quick. Even though they are worth it (in my opinion) I was so excited to find something very similar at a drugstore price to share with you!
Affordable Dupes to the Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadows
I recently reviewed the NEW City Color Cosmetics Shimmer Shadows and noticed that they were really similar to the Metal Crush Eyeshadows. If you want to check out that review click here! The Shimmer Shadows are only $6.99 each and there's tons more colors to choose from. They are slightly different in formula; the Metal Crush Shadows are creamy but not a cream to powder hybrid like the Shimmer Shadows. On the eyes they're both stunning and stay on all day!

The Metal Crush Shadow formula is on the drier side compared to the Shimmer Shadows. But like I said... twinning on the lids! haha. I wanted to find some shades to compare, the colors are not spot on but just so you can get an idea of what they look like! :-)

There's minimal fall out with both formulas and they blend so easily. Another thing to point out is that you get a little more product with City Color Cosmetics.

I love both formulas! On the eyes you can't tell a difference. If you love metallic shadows as much as I do either one would be great. If you're looking for more options for your money I highly recommend the City Color Cosmetics Shimmer Shadows! :-)
