Review: Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette! (Swatches + Looks!)

Keeping it Peachy!

Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette

I'm back! :-)
It's been a while since I last blogged and I absolutely missed it! Even though I haven't been blogging I've been accumulating some makeup here and there so stay tuned for more reviews! Now that it's the Fall season I wanted to review a palette that seems perfect for this time of year. The Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes is an all matte palette full of gorgeous warm tones... I couldn't say no! The range of colors was very well thought out and the packaging is simply adorable (& smells likes peaches!). It retails for $45 making each eyeshadow pan less than $4 which is a great deal.

Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette
There's 11 completely matte shadows and 1 more satiny shade (Peach Sangria) but on the eye it pretty much looks matte. All of them swatched really well! The texture is pretty smooth and buttery. I've tried almost every color on my eyes and they blend really well too. I love the darker shades in this palette! I felt like the Sweet Peach palette was lacking those so I'm happy to see them in this palette.
Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette
Here's a side by side of the palettes. Some of the colors are similar but not identical so no worries there. The darker shades in the Sweet Peach are shimmery which I tend to avoid when deepening up a look so I definitely see myself reaching for the Just Peachy palette for those shades.
Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette
Here are all the shades swatched. The deeper shades are very buildable so don't be alarmed by the pigmentation in the swatch. The lighter peachy shades look amazing as transition colors! When I get ready for work I just blend one in the crease and call it a day. Simple but it makes you look like you tried haha. Here are some looks I created with the palette:

Even though I love a metallic shade on the lid there's something about an all matte look! I love how the looks came out and they lasted all day, even through a wedding, haha.

Bottom line: I'm really happy with this palette! I love the idea of an all matte palette and the fact that this one is full of warm shades it's even better. The packaging is on point (per usual with Too Faced!) and the formulation is great. Can't wait to continue to play with it this fall season! :-)

Review: Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette! (Swatches + Looks!)

Cutesy and Smells Amazing!

Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette
Too Faced always gets me with their packaging!! Please tell me I'm not alone, haha. I love their Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette... it's actually packed and ready to come with me on my trip to the Dominican Republic. I researched swatches of this palette before purchasing and the yellow-mustard shade called Honey Buns spoke to me! I'm a warm shadow lover but I didn't want a palette that was too similar to something I already own. Overall I feel like the looks I get and some of the shades are different enough to justify getting it! It retails for $36 and it's limited edition so if you want it go get it! :-)
Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette
I love their smaller tin palettes! They are so convenient when traveling and they get more creative with these. It goes without saying that the packaging is simply adorable!
Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette
There's nine shades total, Peanut Butter is in their Peanut Butter and Jelly but that's OK, I really love the shade. There's only one true metallic shade which is Going Nuts on the top right corner. The rest are matte or matte based with shimmers. I would've loved some more metallics shades, at least a lighter one for a lid shade.
Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette
Here are the swatches! They all feel super creamy and buttery! The formula is great and they blend so well.
Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette
Here is an all matte look I created using Peanut Butter and Honey Buns in the crease and Honey Brittle as my lid shade. I added another Too Faced product as my inner corner highlight that I should be reviewing soon so stay tuned! ;-) I love this look, it made my eyes look brighter and Honey Buns looks awesome in the crease!
Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette
Here's another look I created using Peanut Butter and Bee's Knees in the crease and Going Nuts as my lid shade for a more smokey look. Loved this look too! It was simple to create and the application was easy.

Bottom line: I'm really happy with this palette! It would've been a holy grail palette for me if it included one or two more metallic shades but other than that it's really good. If you love warm shades like I do but want something a little different this is a great option! :-)

Review: Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette! (Swatches + Looks!)

Peaches & Cream!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette

Today I'll be reviewing the most hard to get palette at the moment haha. I still can't believe I was able to get my hands on it... it wasn't easy but totally worth it! The Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette retails for $49 and comes with 18 shades, great mix of finishes and colors and it smells like peach candy! Personally I'm not over the moon with the scent but the shades (which is what matters right?) are stunning! But before we get into all of that let's start with the packaging.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette
I have to give it to Too Faced because they always kill it with their packaging! This palette is super cute while still being compact.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette
Here's the inside of the palette. All the shadows are the same size, unlike the chocolate bar palettes.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette
The color selection is different from what I expected. It has a few peach shades but I wish it had a few more, like deeper peaches. I do like that they included some beautiful browns and purples. I still think it's a well rounded shade selection and they're formulated very well! They blend easily and the shades show up without a problem. Here are the swatches:
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette
The metallics are so pretty and perfect for all over the lid. Those browns towards the bottom are some of my favorites too! They are so rich yet so simple to work with.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette
I created three different looks to share! I tried to use a variety of shades just to show how versatile the palette is. Warm shades are my weakness so that's what I gravitate towards but I tried a green look with a bit of purple and loved it. It was totally out of my norm but that's the beauty of makeup! :-)

Bottom line: I really like the palette! I didn't enjoy the trouble of actually getting the palette and how it will sell out in seconds of launching but I'm happy I have it. I do feel like that takes away from experience because it wasn't so accessible and pretty much a hassle. I noticed there's some similarities with the original Chocolate Bar palette. If you prefer richer, more warm shades I'd go with this one. I've read that Too Faced will be releasing more soon so keep an eye out if you're interested! :-)

Review: Too Faced "Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection!" (Swatches + Look!)

Cutest Palette Ever!

Too Faced "Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection!"
Too Faced... can you get any cuter?! :-) I got my hands on the NEW Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette and truly adore it! If you know me you would know that I <3 warm tones when it comes to shadows and this palette is perfect for me. It retails for $36 and comes with 9 amazing, buttery shadows!
Too Faced "Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection!"
It goes without saying that the packaging is everything! It's so adorable, compact and has a slight peanut butter + chocolate smell!
Too Faced "Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection!"
Here is the layout! I love the color selection and the pop of color. Even though most of the colors are in the same color family you can definetely create tons of different looks.
Too Faced "Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection!"

Too Faced "Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection!"
The shadows are so silky and so easy to work with! The matte shades are my favorite... they blend like a dream!
Here are two looks I created using this palette ^__^!

Bottom line: The concept is so cute and the formula is unbeatable! The looks above lasted a whole work day without creasing and looking just as vibrant as when I applied it at the beginning of my day. I highly recommend this palette if you love warm colors just as much as I do! :-)

Review: Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16 Hour Blush in Baby Love!

I Heart It!

Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16 Hour Blush in Baby Love
Too Faced gets me with their packaging every time! How cute is this blush?! They released six Love Flush Long-Lasting 16 Hour Blushes with the cutest names and colors. I decided to go with the most neutral one to test it out and I must say... this blush is lovely! It's priced at $26 which is equal to other higher end brands like Tarte and Urban Decay.
Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16 Hour Blush in Baby Love
Packaging is awesome! You get what you pay for with this blush. It's sturdy and a great size for traveling.
Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16 Hour Blush in Baby Love
It also comes with a tiny mirror. In a pinch it's great for touch ups!
Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16 Hour Blush in Baby Love
Here's a close up of Baby Love! It a beautiful pinky nude blush with the finest golden shimmers but they don't show up on the skin. It's pretty much a satin finish on, leaving a lovely glow on the cheeks! It's a great formula, a little bit powdery but not too bad. I prefer to use a denser brush to get better color payoff but it's buildable. I've been wearing it non stop lately because it pairs so well with everything! It does last an entire work day for me without fading which is awesome.
Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16 Hour Blush in Baby Love
Here are the swatches, on the left is under natural light and with flash on the right :-)

Bottom line: I love this blush! The formula is great and the color is right up my alley! I love how cutesy it is, I mean a heart shaped blush... c'mon! Too Faced is such a great brand and I'm a fan of how their creativity reflects onto their products. Overall, it's A+! :-)

Review: Too Faced Melted Metal Liquified Lipstick in Metallic Jelly!

#BringingFrostBack!

Too Faced Melted Metal Liquified Lipstick in Metallic Jelly
Too Faced is bringing frost back with their NEW Melted Metals line! Metallic lip colors are pretty out there and different which is why I needed one in my life haha. I purchased Metallic Jelly, priced at $21 but I waited to get it during the Sephora V.I.B sale ;-) I'm a huge fan of the original Melted Lipsticks, check out my previous posts for more details on those!
Too Faced Melted Metal Liquified Lipstick in Metallic Jelly
Metallic Jelly is a beautiful plum shade with shimmer. I thought it was going to be deeper but it's pretty sheer which is something that threw me off. The original Melted Lipsticks are very opaque and dry matte but this one is completely opposite. It's a little buildable but you won't get it as opaque as the OG's, at least not this color. It's a thin formula that lasts about 3 hours before you need to reapply. This darker shade leaves a stain behind which is nice. The shimmers are comfortable, nothing you can feel on the lips.
Too Faced Melted Metal Liquified Lipstick in Metallic Jelly

Bottom line: I had my expectations but overall I still like the lippie. It's great for throwing on and heading out the door because it doesn't require too much maintenance.Since it's glossy I would recommend a lip liner to make sure it doesn't feather. It's not as pigmented as I would like but I guess since it's frosty it's better for it to be subtle haha. I don't see myself purchasing any other colors but I do recommend this one! :-)

Review: Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua!

...And Another One!

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua
When it comes to liquid lipsticks this formula is one of the best! My melted collection is growing so fast and I ain't mad about it haha. Today I have swatches and thoughts about Melted Chihuahua to share with you! Let's start off with the name... Chihuahua?! There's something morbid about that name but the color is stunning nonetheless. Here's the run down about price and availability: $21. sold at Toofaced.com, Ulta & Sephora! The price is totally worth it but I also recommend waiting for sale like the VIB that's coming up or the 20% off Ulta coupons that are circulating! :-)
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua
I love the sponge tip applicator, it's so comfy on your lips and always applies the perfect amount!
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua
This shade is described as being a dusty mauve which I would have to disagree with. The actual lipstick color doesn't match the color of the tube at all. To be honest I was a bit bummed at first because I was hoping for that perfect mauve shade for everyday wear. But after giving it a chance I've grown to really like this color! I'd say its more of a peachy nude on me which I don't own too many of. I never thought it would  be flattering on me but I'm happy to have this one! :-)
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua
Here's what the color looks like on. I love the formula because it's so long wearing. This color will be a great one for everyday or wearing to work!

Bottom line: Even though the color wasn't what I expected I still like it! The formula is just the best so I would recommend the entire line! They recently released the new melted metallic line which is so peculiar. I think I might pick up one or two to test out! ;-)

Review: Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette! (+ Swatches!)

The Best Formula!

Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette
Too Faced kills me every time when it comes to their new releases! The brand is so innovative and different which I love! While I was out and about with my hubby recently, he spoiled me with the NEW Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette *insert heart eyes emoji here* I've had a chance to test it out and hands down this palette is amazing! It retails for $36 and it's available on the Too Faced Site & Ulta. It's an all matte version of the Natural Eyes Palette which is pretty cool!
Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette
This is my first "tin" palette from Too faced and I'm loving the compact style of it. It's ideal for traveling and easily stores away.
Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette
The colors are really sultry, it's different from your typical neutral palette! I love the layout of the shadows as well, the ones you would use up quicker are bigger so that's a plus. You can easily go from day to night with these colors and if you need inspiration it comes with a Glamour Guide!
Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette
These shadows are so buttery, the best matte shadows I've ever worked with. They are not powdery at all and they blend so effortlessly, it left me in Awe! The texture is so smooth and silky... truly impressed! Lets get into swatches by row:
Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette

The color selection is awesome! It has light tones, mid tones and deeper ones... everything you need to create a look. At first I thought it needed a black shade but after using it so much I don't miss the black. Sexpresso and Risque are great shades for deepening up a look! Those shade names though... kinky! haha.
Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette
Here's a look I wore to work! I love how the colors blended with each other, such an easy palette to use.

Bottom line: I love it! I can't stop raving about it. From everything that I've tried in the matte world these are the best in texture. It's a great everyday choice for a palette and price wise it's on the more affordable side of the higher end spectrum. I'm grateful for my sweet hubby who knows exactly what makes me happy haha!

Review: Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big!

Blush, Bronzer & A Love Story!

Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
Leave it to Too Faced to come up with the cutest blush and bronzer duo mixed in with a little nostalgia! :-) These released just in time for the month of love and I just couldn't pass it up. There's two duos in this limited edition collection, Carrie & Big and Ross & Rachel (my heart melts for these names btw haha) Of course I went for the Carrie & Big duo, Sex and the City was one of my obsessions back in the day. I've watched the episodes so many times, such a guilty pleasure!  "I'm someone who is looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't live without each other love." is one of my favorite quotes of all time and life motto. But... enough about the show let's talk about the blush/bronzer duo haha.
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
This pretty big heart retails for $34. Luckily my ebates refund came just in time to get this duo for nearly nothing! I do want to emphasize how large this product is. I ordered online so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a magnetic closure with a black sleek exterior, very nice! Carrie & Big is the duo that is meant for light to medium skintones. Both the blush and bronzer are a satin finish, leaving a beautiful healthy glow!
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
Here's what it looks like. I love that it comes with a nice sized mirror, always convenient for travel. I've heard people being disappointed with the blush size compared to the amount of bronzer you get. Actually, it's really not that small. You won't be able to fit a big fluffy blush brush in there but the E.L.F blush brushes fit that heart perfectly. Plus, I wasn't too impressed with the blush anyway. The pigmentation wasn't the best and it needed lots of building up on the cheeks. The bronzer on the other hand is amazing! It's the perfect tone to give your skin that sun-kissed glow! I've never really been into bronzers but this is one I will be using nonstop. It's so smooth and the color payoff is great. I use a duo fiber stippling brush for the bronzer and love it!
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
Here are the swatches! Such pretty colors, sucks that the blush isn't the best. I'll probably end up mixing both colors to create that summer glow, just to try to incorporate the blush and not waste product.

Bottom line: I wish the blush was more pigmented but the bronzer is the star in this duo for me. I love the color and definetely recommend it! Now that the seasons are changing I won't be putting this down. It's the perfect way to add some warmth to your complexion without over doing it. Plus the name is just too cute! If you're a fan of either show this will make an awesome collectors item. You can find it on the Too faced website, Sephora and Ulta! :-)
