Must Haves: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Bronzer! (Swatches & Look!)

NEW Summer Must Have!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Bronzer
The NEW Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer has blown me away! I have a few foundations that are a little too light for me at the moment and this bronzer has been a life saver. I purchased mine at Walmart for about $14, kinda expensive for drugstore but totally worth it! There's two shades to choose from. I have the shade bronzer which is suppose to be the darker one but honestly it's not too deep, perfect for light to medium skin tones.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Bronzer
It comes in the cutest packaging! And... it smells like sunscreen... like the tropical kind! haha. I love the scent but if you're sensitive to smells just know that it doesn't linger.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Bronzer
It's such a smooth, creamy formula and I find that it's very buildable. It's matte and adds the perfect warmth to your skin that will leave people wondering if you just came back from vacation! ;-)
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Bronzer
Here's a swatch! It might not look like much but trust me when I say it's everything! My only con with this product is the color range. This is the deepest shade in the line and you can see how light it is. Physicians Formula (if you ever read this haha) please expand your shade range!

Here's what it looks like on. I applied it to the perimeters of my face, where the sun would naturally bronze me. I'm ultra pale right now and for being puertorican that is a big NO NO! This bronzer adds the right amount of color to my skin and it last all day. Can't complain!

The packaging is adorable, the color is perfect for me and the scent is lovely so this product is a must have! I wish the retail price was more affordable but keep your eyes peeled for coupons and sales if you're interested! :-)

Review: E.L.F Studio Bronzer Palette!

New From E.L.F!

E.L.F Studio Bronzer Palette
E.L.F has released a ton of new things recently that I'm slowing trying but I had to post on a few things because they became instant loves. Their Contour Palette is amazing! Make sure to check out my post on that one by clicking here! :-) Today I'll be reviewing their Bronzer Palette which is another love of mine. It retails for $6 and you get four different bronzer shades in different finishes.
E.L.F Studio Bronzer Palette
Off the bat I'll say that I wished they came in a more diverse color selection. This palette is suitable for light-medium skintones but may not show up on skintones darker than that. With that said, for my skin color it works and I love the different finishes it includes! You can mix and match the colors to make it work year-round which I find to be genius! (plus it's $6?!)
E.L.F Studio Bronzer Palette
These bronzers are not the most pigmented but they are definitely buildable which is better so you can control how much color you want. The last thing you want is an intense streak of bronzer that you can't blend out! haha. I also appreciate the formula because it doesn't fade away. Let's get into swatches!
E.L.F Studio Bronzer Palette
I love how there's a mix of cool and warm and like I said before you can mix a little of this one with that one to create the perfect shade! On the skin the colors look natural, pretty much sun-kissed.

Bottom line: I really like this palette! I find it to be so convenient when traveling or when you need to personalize a shade to match. I love the fact that the palette is customizable with their blush and foundation palettes too. It's a great a value and a great product! :-)

Review: bh Cosmetics Wild & Radiant -Baked Illuminating & Bronzing Palette!

Affordable Glow!

bh Cosmetics Wild & Radiant -Baked Illuminating & Bronzing Palette
Highlight and bronzer are quickly becoming obsessions for me... and I ain't mad about it! ;-) Blogging and Youtube has opened my eyes to so many techniques and products I never thought I would use. Since then, I've been experimenting with bronzer and highlight and looking for affordable options to test out. bh Cosmetics released an amazing (and affordable!) highlight & bronzer palette which I've been loving lately and can't wait to tell you guys about. Let's get into it!
bh Cosmetics Wild & Radiant -Baked Illuminating & Bronzing Palette
The Wild & Radiant- Baked Illuminating & Bronzing Palette is pretty much amazing! BH Cosmetics is notorious for their crazy good sales so this palette is only $8 at the moment. The size of each pan is pretty generous so it's a great value all around. Plus, since it's baked a little goes a long way. It's also a versatile product that can be used wet or dry, depending on how glamorous you want to look! ;-)
bh Cosmetics Wild & Radiant -Baked Illuminating & Bronzing Palette
The bronzers are really pretty and will definetely give you that summer bronze glow. The highlighters are stunning! They're not chunky and go on so smooth. The highlight lasts and once it melts into your skin it makes you glisten... love it!
bh Cosmetics Wild & Radiant -Baked Illuminating & Bronzing Palette

The color selection is great! If you're looking for variety you can mix a bit of bronzer with the highlight and customize it to your liking. If you're looking for a champagne or golden highlight this palette will give you that. The swatches above are dry so just imagine how cool they would look wet... yeah I know!

Bottom line: I love this palette and can't rave about it enough! It's compact, affordable and great for someone who want's to test the waters of highlight and bronzer. The quality is so darn good, just like all of bh cosmetics baked products. If this seems like somehing you'd like make sure to stop by their website and catch it on sale! :-)

Review: Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big!

Blush, Bronzer & A Love Story!

Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
Leave it to Too Faced to come up with the cutest blush and bronzer duo mixed in with a little nostalgia! :-) These released just in time for the month of love and I just couldn't pass it up. There's two duos in this limited edition collection, Carrie & Big and Ross & Rachel (my heart melts for these names btw haha) Of course I went for the Carrie & Big duo, Sex and the City was one of my obsessions back in the day. I've watched the episodes so many times, such a guilty pleasure!  "I'm someone who is looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't live without each other love." is one of my favorite quotes of all time and life motto. But... enough about the show let's talk about the blush/bronzer duo haha.
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
This pretty big heart retails for $34. Luckily my ebates refund came just in time to get this duo for nearly nothing! I do want to emphasize how large this product is. I ordered online so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a magnetic closure with a black sleek exterior, very nice! Carrie & Big is the duo that is meant for light to medium skintones. Both the blush and bronzer are a satin finish, leaving a beautiful healthy glow!
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
Here's what it looks like. I love that it comes with a nice sized mirror, always convenient for travel. I've heard people being disappointed with the blush size compared to the amount of bronzer you get. Actually, it's really not that small. You won't be able to fit a big fluffy blush brush in there but the E.L.F blush brushes fit that heart perfectly. Plus, I wasn't too impressed with the blush anyway. The pigmentation wasn't the best and it needed lots of building up on the cheeks. The bronzer on the other hand is amazing! It's the perfect tone to give your skin that sun-kissed glow! I've never really been into bronzers but this is one I will be using nonstop. It's so smooth and the color payoff is great. I use a duo fiber stippling brush for the bronzer and love it!
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big
Here are the swatches! Such pretty colors, sucks that the blush isn't the best. I'll probably end up mixing both colors to create that summer glow, just to try to incorporate the blush and not waste product.

Bottom line: I wish the blush was more pigmented but the bronzer is the star in this duo for me. I love the color and definetely recommend it! Now that the seasons are changing I won't be putting this down. It's the perfect way to add some warmth to your complexion without over doing it. Plus the name is just too cute! If you're a fan of either show this will make an awesome collectors item. You can find it on the Too faced website, Sephora and Ulta! :-)

Review: E.L.F Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream!

Perfect For Fall/Winter!

E.L.F Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream!
I've started to notice how dry my skin is getting now that the weather is getting cooler... so I decided to bust out my E.L.F Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream! I've had this for a few months now but never got around to reviewing it. But what better time to do so than the present? ;-) I've been using it and love how it makes my skin looks! Normally you tend to look flat in the colder months so this product is amazing for bringing back the glow! You can find it on the E.L.F Website for only $3, an awesome deal!
E.L.F Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream!
Both the blush and bronzer go on very smooth and blend so well. I also love that the shades are suitable for most skintones. They're both great everyday shades, specially the blush... it's gorgeous! A little goes a long a way and the best part is they're pretty long wearing. The rule to follow (so they say) is not to put cream over powder but vice versa is a really great idea. If you want the blush or bronzer to last even more just apply a powder one over it and you wont have to worry about the color fading one bit! Here are the swatches:
E.L.F Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream!
I love the blush! It's my favorite from the duo but the bronzer is also worth hyping. My main issue is finding a bronzer shade that isn't too dark or too orange and this shade is pretty much on point! Plus I find it's so much easier to contour with cream rather than powder.

Bottom line: This would be a life saver in these upcoming months! The last thing you want is to add powder onto dry patches so cream blush & bronzer is the way to go. This product will not break the bank at all! I hope E.L.F releases some new shades because I would purchase every single one of them. Make sure to check their site if your interested in purchasing! :-)

Must Haves: E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit!

Drop Dead Gorgeous Blush!

E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit
Eyes Lips Face released a nice range of holiday kits and sets on their website and of course I had to test out a few... for research purposes haha ;-) They were actually having a 50% off sale so the prices were so good to pass up! Today I have the E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit to review for you guys. It retails for only $5 and because I caught it on sale it was only $2.50! After using it I wished I would've ordered a backup because that blush alone is breathtaking!
E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit
The kit includes a highlight, blush and bronzer in a cute compact palette. It's pretty sturdy, kinda reminds me in  away of the Sleek Blush Palettes. They're similar in the layout and such.
E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit
It also includes a blush brush which is not the best quality to be honest. The brush hairs are a bit scratchy like the brushes in the essential line. I could see it working in a pinch though so don't toss it haha.
E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit
The highlighter has a pink tone to it, not one I would reach for because it's a satin finish. I love my highlighters to be more on the shimmery side but it's a pretty color nonetheless. The bronzer is not too warm and not too orange, just a great in between shade! Plus... it's matte! It's really smooth and blends fairly easy. But you guys... I haven't seen such a stunning blush color in a while. This blush is like an apricot shade with a golden sheen, similar to Nars Orgasm but less pink. It has a unique duo chrome to it that leaves your cheeks looking amazing! Even if you don't care for the highlight or bronzer I would get this kit just for the blush, it's that good!
E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit
It's kinda difficult to capture the duo chrome on camera, these pics really doesn't do the blush justice. It's really pigmented by the way so make sure to use a lighter hand. Here's what they look like swatched:
E.L.F Essential Holiday Cheeky Glow Kit
Bottom line: This kit is a great value! I'm truly in love with the blush, kinda hoping E.L.F adds that color to their permanent line because I would repurchase it in a heartbeat. The bronzer is pretty good, the highlighter was the only thing that didn't really impress me. But the convenience of having all three products in a kit is awesome! For $5 you can't go wrong! :-)

Must Haves: E.L.F Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji!

NEW Matte Duo!

E.L.F Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji
Eyes Lips Face has done it again! They've released a brand new product that I just can't stop using! This is the new Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in Fiji which retails for only $3! Such an amazing price and an even more incredible product. I think we've all been waiting for E.L.F to release this matte duo for the longest time and it was definitely worth the wait. Its such a blendable product! All I can say is... I'm truly impressed!
I have two of the other duos that are packed with shimmers and honestly I don't reach for them for that reason. This matte duo is the perfect combination of a matte warm dusty rose and a matte golden bronzer which is perfect for light-medium skin tones!
E.L.F Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji
I did notice a slight change in the elf packaging which is a total plus. The brand name stands out more and it now has the amount of product printed on the front. I still hope that someday they will print the shade name on the back in bigger font but... that's another story haha. It still has the awesome large mirror which comes in handy. Here are the swatches:
E.L.F Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji
I can see this blush working on many of skin tones. The bronzer is a bit on the lighter side so I'd say that up to medium skin tones will be able to use it. They are really smooth and blend so well on the skin. It's an effortless application with both sides which is why I love it so much. I wore it to a Comedy Festival and it lasted all day, through bipolar weather (haha) without fading.
Here's what both the bronzer and blush looked like on:
E.L.F Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji
and here's my ring <3 wedding planning has taken over my life haha.
Alright... back to the duo. I highly recommend this product and it's on the top 5 on my must haves list... its that good! I find myself reaching for it a lot because it pairs perfectly with berry tone lips (which is my fav!). It brings life back to your face and the formula is spot on. Make sure to add it to your cart in your next E.L.F order! :-)

Review: E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer!

So Silky!

E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
Hey everyone! Hope you're having an amazing day! I'm getting my things sorted in my new home and finally found my camera haha. I have a bunch of new items to review so stay tuned for that! They just keep piling up... but hey, I'm a makeup lover! ;-) Today we have a review on the NEW E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzers that I purchased from eyeslipsface.com. They retail for $5 each, at the time the mineral line was 50% off so I got a great deal on them. There's four shades total in the line and I must say, they are amazing!
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
Three out of the four would work as bronzers on my skin tone and one of them would make a gorgeous highlight! On my skin two out of the four look matte which is a plus in my book. I really like that the line offers mattes and shimmers. The darkest shade in the line would also suite medium-deep skin tones so the color range is also great!
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
I love the Mineral Pressed Blushes and I initially thought these would be very similar in formula but they do differ. These are super soft to the touch which causes plenty of fall out. It's really easy to make yourself look muddy because the brush collects a lot of product with just one swipe. I would suggest to always tap your brush on your hand before application that way its easier to blend.
I'm loving the tones the line has to offer! There's more gray cool tones, peachy tones and red tones which makes the line very versatile. You can use one for just bronzing and use another for contouring. Here are the swatches:
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
*Baked Peach- a very light peachy shade, works best as a highlight and its really pretty. It's the most powdery from the line but beautiful nonetheless. Love the glow it gives!
*Tan Toffee- a golden bronze shade, this is the one I'm using right now for contouring. I'm pretty pale right now which is a sin since its still summer but this is my perfect match! For the most part this color is matte on the skin even though it does have a slight sheen but no shimmer.
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
*Beach Bronze- a medium bronze-taupe shade with shimmers. This shade is beautiful but too dark for me at the moment. It would make a great bronzing shade if I had a tan haha.
*Caramel Cabana- a medium reddish brown bronzer, another great satin matte color. Super smooth and pigmented like the rest!

Bottom line: These bronzers are worth the price! I love the color range and the formulation. They are infused with Vitamin E and Grape which provides great benefits for the skin. The colors work perfectly year round and for only $5? That's a bargain! The peachy shade is the only one that was a bit powdery and wasn't really a "bronzer" color. So if you're looking for great contour shade or one to bronze up your skin just skip the first shade and purchase the rest. Lookout for sales because E.L.F is notorious for having them all the time! :-)

Review: ULTA Sculpting Palette!

Emphasize Your Features!

ULTA Sculpting Palette
So I don't know about you guys but when I go to Ulta I tend to skip the Ulta Collection products and go straight to the brands I know I love. Last time I was there I noticed these blush, bronzer and highlight trios and knew I had to have them! I recently reviewed a similar product from Hard Candy called the Contouring Face Trio which is the same thing just in baked form. Those were amazing so make sure to check out that review for swatches. I was able to justify the Ulta Sculpting Palettes because they were new and at the time only $6! ;-)
ULTA Sculpting Palette
Don't be fooled by the picture, these are HUGE! There's 15.6 grams of product in these so they are a great value. I did get them on sale but they retail for $14 which is still affordable. Ulta has alot of sales plus the $3.50 off $10 coupon so you can catch them on a deal too. There's a total of three palettes, the one that I'm missing has a more neutral mauve blush so I skipped it for the brighter colors. I have nothing but great things to say about these and overall I'm impressed! These are super nicely pigmented and silky to the touch. They blend so effortlessly that I find myself reaching for it more often than my other blushes and bronzers! I didn't notice any fading at the end of the day when I wore each of them so the lasting power is awesome! Here are the colors and swatches (click on the image to enlarge!):
ULTA Sculpting Palette
*Rosette- this trio has the highlight with pink tones, a lighter bronzer than the other palette and the hot pink blush. It's a gorgeous trio and pairs very well together! The blush is buildable and the highlight is beautiful when it hits the light!
ULTA Sculpting Palette
*Muse- this trio has the highlight with cream-beige tones, a darker bronzer and an orange-coral blush which btw is amazing! This trio caught my attention first and I love it! That blush is like nothing I have, its a darker coral that looks great on. The bronzer is to be used with caution since it's darker but beautiful nonetheless.

Bottom line: I love these trios and they have opened my eyes to the Ulta products. I can't wait to give some of their other products a try because these trios blew me out of the water! I love sets and palettes that simplify our lives. Everything is in one place and paired for you in a foolproof way. You get so much product so these are definitely worth the money! Give them a try! :-)

Review: Hard Candy - So Baked Contour Trio!

Want a Healthy Glow?! Try This!

Hard Candy - So Baked Contour Trio
I've haven't been so excited about Hard Candy in a very long time! Out of all their products I must say their baked products are out of this world! They are really amazing and worth the price. Other things in their line tend to be gimmicky so I stay away from those. Hard Candy came out with these new So Baked Contour Trios in 4 shades and I have 2 of them to review for you today!
First off is the price: these retail for $9.00 each at Walmart so its really accessible to everyone! They have a pretty good range to choose, great colors to suite different skin tones. The packaging is just like their other baked blushes and bronzers, just a slight bit bigger. The product size is pretty decent, you get 11g. Since its a 3-in-one product the individuals sizes are a bit smaller than what I like but you can still work with it. I found that the ELF Blush brush (just $3!) was the perfect size to use. You get right into the color you want without blending the others, so its the perfect tool for this product! Here's a close up of the colors:
Hard Candy - So Baked Contour Trio
So Baked Contour Trio in 3 Strikes- this trio is the darkest of the two that I own. Being that it's a baked product all three shades leave such a beautiful sheen on the skin, that makes you glow! The blush shade in this trio is a bright pink that goes on smooth. The luminizer/highlight is more of a champagne color, really pretty! The bronzer is a bit dark but amazing nonetheless. They are all really pigmented and awesome quality for only being $9. I'm super impressed!
Hard Candy - So Baked Contour Trio
So Baked Contour Trio in 3rd Wheel- the bronzer is lighter in this trio than the other one. This is the first out of the two that I tried and I fell in love! I wore it to work and it lasted all day! I used all three shades and it looked really beautiful, as if you're glowing from within. The blush is a more coral pink and the luminzer/highlighter has more pink tones too. I was hesitant to use all three at the same time because I didn't want to look like a disco ball haha. But when they all blend together it looks amazing! The bronzer isn't patchy and the blush is gorgeous, just make sure to use a light hand. I think this one is my favorite out of the two, it suits my skin tone a lot more and I have no complaints!

Bottom line: I love this product and I'm very tempted to purchase the other two I'm missing! (hoarder...I know! haha) But it's really that good! I suggest you check them out on your next trip to Walmart because there's nothing like this in the drugstore. This is going to be perfect for spring and summer. A light foundation, this trio and a tinted lip balm and you're good to go! This gets an A+ from me, make sure to give them a try. :-)

Review: Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer!

Break Your Diet & Have Some Chocolate!

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
I was a bit skeptical about makeup products having scents but my mind changed completely as soon as I dove into this milk chocolate goodness! Too Faced has many different bronzers to suite everyone and this Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is a new release for us light to medium skin tones. It retails for $30, kinda steep in price but I've never found a bronzer that suites me as well as this one! I purchased mine at Sephora. The packaging is the first thing that caught my eye, it's really pretty! The second thing that caught my attention was the scent... it smells amazing! For all you chocolate lovers this is the bronzer for you. The scent isn't overpowering and it doesn't linger but just that initial sniff when you open the compact makes you come back for more!
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
The inside has a nice sized mirror. The matte bronzer doesn't seem to have orange tones like the original Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. I'll include a picture of both below so you can see the difference. I've tried many bronzers before but they always ended up looking a bit muddy or dirty. When I used this one I fell in love! It's a lighter brown with grayer tones which looks more natural on me when I contour. It's practically fool-proof for those of us just starting to contour! I use an angled kabuki brush to contour. Here's the bronzer compared to the original:
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
On the right is the original bronzer which is visibly more orange and a darker. This one would suite people with medium to dark skin tones. Once I get some sun in the summer I'll probably switch over to that one haha. They're both matte which is perfect! It's a super smooth formula which allows it to be buildable if needed. I also use it on my forehead and lightly dust it on my face for a sunkissed glow. I never thought a bronzer would be an essential part of my makeup routine but after giving this one a try I can't imagine myself without it! Here's a swatch:
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
It doesn't look like much just swatched but it's beautiful when applied on the face. I haven't found a cheaper alternative yet for this bronzer but I'll be on the hunt. Hopefully one comes up! :-)

Bottom line: I love this bronzer and I would recommend it to my fellow light to medium skin tones. It's a great product and I've used it everyday since I purchased it. It brings life back into your face when foundations make you flat. It adds just the right amount of color so you look sunkissed and lets face it... we are all searching for that youthful glow! ;-)

Do you have a favorite bronzer? If so leave a comment down below! :-)
