Review: E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer!

So Silky!

E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
Hey everyone! Hope you're having an amazing day! I'm getting my things sorted in my new home and finally found my camera haha. I have a bunch of new items to review so stay tuned for that! They just keep piling up... but hey, I'm a makeup lover! ;-) Today we have a review on the NEW E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzers that I purchased from eyeslipsface.com. They retail for $5 each, at the time the mineral line was 50% off so I got a great deal on them. There's four shades total in the line and I must say, they are amazing!
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
Three out of the four would work as bronzers on my skin tone and one of them would make a gorgeous highlight! On my skin two out of the four look matte which is a plus in my book. I really like that the line offers mattes and shimmers. The darkest shade in the line would also suite medium-deep skin tones so the color range is also great!
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
I love the Mineral Pressed Blushes and I initially thought these would be very similar in formula but they do differ. These are super soft to the touch which causes plenty of fall out. It's really easy to make yourself look muddy because the brush collects a lot of product with just one swipe. I would suggest to always tap your brush on your hand before application that way its easier to blend.
I'm loving the tones the line has to offer! There's more gray cool tones, peachy tones and red tones which makes the line very versatile. You can use one for just bronzing and use another for contouring. Here are the swatches:
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
*Baked Peach- a very light peachy shade, works best as a highlight and its really pretty. It's the most powdery from the line but beautiful nonetheless. Love the glow it gives!
*Tan Toffee- a golden bronze shade, this is the one I'm using right now for contouring. I'm pretty pale right now which is a sin since its still summer but this is my perfect match! For the most part this color is matte on the skin even though it does have a slight sheen but no shimmer.
E.L.F Mineral Pressed Mineral Bronzer
*Beach Bronze- a medium bronze-taupe shade with shimmers. This shade is beautiful but too dark for me at the moment. It would make a great bronzing shade if I had a tan haha.
*Caramel Cabana- a medium reddish brown bronzer, another great satin matte color. Super smooth and pigmented like the rest!

Bottom line: These bronzers are worth the price! I love the color range and the formulation. They are infused with Vitamin E and Grape which provides great benefits for the skin. The colors work perfectly year round and for only $5? That's a bargain! The peachy shade is the only one that was a bit powdery and wasn't really a "bronzer" color. So if you're looking for great contour shade or one to bronze up your skin just skip the first shade and purchase the rest. Lookout for sales because E.L.F is notorious for having them all the time! :-)

Must Haves: L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadows!

Best Pressed Pigment!

L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadows
If you haven't tried these L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye shadows then you must stop what you're doing and run to your nearest drugstore! These are the best pressed pigments in the market! They last all day and the color range is great. They retail for about $8 depending on where you go which is a reasonable price. I would personally wait for a sale to pick them up, like the one Ulta recently had; 40% off the entire line! They can be worn wet or dry and either way you get an effortless look. These are must haves!
L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadows
These come with a plastic stopper that you can use to keep the pigment compact and stop it from drying out. These feel like cream but on the eyes they set like a powder. I haven't worn them for 24 hours haha but I can say that they are long wearing. They don't fade throughout the day and that's a huge plus!
L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadows
These are the only shades I have... right now at least! haha. I've worn the magenta and rose gold as lid colors and it looks gorgeous! Here are the swatches:
L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadows
*Burst into Bloom- a light lilac-purple, really pretty!
*Glistening Garnet- a reddish pink-magenta color, love this one!
*Amber Rush- a rose gold and the most wearable of the bunch. If you could only pick one I would recommend this one!

Bottom line: These are the best pressed pigments! I've tried some other ones that are good but not great like these. Nothing really compares so I highly recommend you pick some up! They're not too messy and since its not a loose formula you wont have any fall out. L'Oreal knocked it out of the park with these so don't overlook them next time you're at the drugstore! :-)

Must Haves: Jordana Cosmetics Powder Blushes!

Inexpensive & Amazing!

Jordana Cosmetics Powder Blushes
My heart has a soft spot for the Jordana Powder Blushes! They were the first blushes I ever owned and part of my daily routine when I first started using makeup :-) They're priced at $2.49 each and can be found on jordanacosmetics.com, Kmart and Walgreens. Jordana recently had a 25% off sale and I took advantage to purchase these plus a few others things, everything was dirt cheap! Milani and Jordana are sister companies so their products are very similar. Their blush line has a huge range of colors and few newly added shades that are gorgeous. If you're looking for a specific blush color you're sure to find it!
Jordana Cosmetics Powder Blushes
Four out of the five blushes I purchased are matte and we all know how difficult it is to find a good matte blush at the drugstore! They are super smooth and pigmented which I love. They are not powdery at all and the color is buildable. Packaging is just a twist off cap, simple but still sleek. Here are the blush names(click to enlarge!):
Jordana Cosmetics Powder Blushes
Here's a closeup of the blushes plus swatches:
Jordana Cosmetics Powder Blushes
*Hot Raspberry- A bright magenta with a matte finish, would look great on deeper skin tones!
*Passion Rose- A light rosey pink with a matte finish,  perfect for everyday.
Jordana Cosmetics Powder Blushes
*Peach Blossom- A peachy coral with a matte finish, gorgeous!
*Sweet Honey- A light terracotta with a matte finish, one of my favorites + perfect for the summer!
Jordana Cosmetics Powder Blushes
*Tender Tearose- A medium rose with silver shimmers, a great fall shade.

Bottom line- I'm so in love with these blushes and highly recommend them! They are so affordable yet don't lack on quality because they are long wearing. The colors are gorgeous and for the price you don't feel guilty owning more than one haha. If you're looking to add some diversity into your blush collection make sure to pick some of these up! :-)

Review: Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos!

A Taste Of Bite Beauty!

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
Bite Beauty is a fairly new brand sold at Sephora that's been getting alot of recognition! It's very well deserved because all their products are made with natural and organic ingredients that makes them good enough to eat... literally! I was really intrigued by the brand but since its a higher end  brand their full size products retail between $22-$28 which is a bit expensive. For the price of one product I decided to purchase these two Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipsticks Duos, only $12 each! It's a pretty good deal and the perfect way to try out their lippies before investing. This is a Sephora Exclusive and its also Limited Edition so make sure to pick them up before they're gone! :-)
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
There's two duos available right now, a more neutral one and the bolder one. All four colors are gorgeous! I'm super excited about the brighter one because I love me a bold lip! The formula is super creamy and opaque, you don't need to pile it on to see the color. These duos come with just a bite size of each shade but it should last you a good while. Here is the first duo:
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
This is the neutral duo with the colors Lychee and Musk! The colors are so wearable and the perfect shades of nude for just about anyone. Here are the swatches:
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
These have a nice glossy finish to them that looks beautiful!
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
*Lychee- a light neutral pink, I love that its not too light so it doesn't wash me out! This one isn't sold separately.
*Musk- a pink brown, my favorite from this duo! It's the perfect "my lips but better" color and you can purchase it separately in the Luminous Crème line for $24.
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
This is the vivid duo with the colors Violet and Palomino! This duo is so pretty and perfect for you bright lovers... like myself! Here are the swatches:
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
Both duos last pretty well and keep your lips moisturized throughout the day!
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos
*Violet- a vibrant purple and looks amazing on! Makes your lips look so juicy! You can purchase this one separately.
*Palomino- a vibrant magenta, love it! With this one being so bright and rich I would recommend to use a lip liner with it to prevent any feathering. You can also purchase this one separately!

Bottom line: These duos are a great value! I highly recommend them if you've been wanting to try out some Bite Beauty products but don't want to fork out too much money at once. After trying these I do think the Bite Beauty lippies are worth the price! I'm planning on adding some of their lippies to my collection in the future... one at a time haha. Its nice to know that they aren't made with any bad ingredients! Its such a great idea and overall I love these! :-)

Review: NYX Baked Blushes!

Glowing Cheeks!

NYX Baked Blushes
Yes... more blush! haha but these are baked so I had to try them out! ;-) I'm a blush fanatic so I love purchasing different colors and finishes to add to my collection. The NYX Baked Blushes retail for $7 but I purchased them during a 30% off sale so it was the perfect time to try them out! There's a total of 12 colors in the line from lighter shades that can be used as highlighters and darker ones that serve as blushes. The color range is pretty nice too!
NYX Baked Blushes
When I first received these I was surprised by how tiny they were! For some reason I thought the packaging would be bulkier but they are very compact. Plus they have the cute little bow as a clasp, just adorable! The NYX site claims that these are baked to sheer perfection to provide a natural glow and I must agree! If you're expecting a really pigmented blush like the Milani Baked Blushes then these aren't for you. They give your cheeks a subtle color and luminous sheen that looks really pretty. Now, the site does say you can use these wet for a more intense color but I haven't tried them that way. I just recommend to apply these before your foundation fully sets so it has something to adhere to thus providing more color. Here are the swatches:
NYX Baked Blushes
*Journey- a soft pink, very muted but still provides that pretty glow!
*Foreplay- a brighter pink with gold shimmer, really pretty! It actually leans more coral on the cheeks.
*Ignite- a muted orange and my favorite from the bunch! Looks gorgeous on the cheeks and since its sheer it's fool proof to apply.

Bottom line: I think these blushes are great! When wearing these you can skip a highlight since they are baked so it's dual purpose product. They blend really well on the skin and the color is buildable but not as opaque as the Milani ones( but... sometimes you don't want a super pigmented blush!) The price point is great so overall I really like these! These would be perfect to wear when you go all out on your eye look because they don't compete with the rest of your look. If you've been wanting to give them a try I say go for it! :-)

Review: The Suede Shadow Palette By NYX! ( Limited Edition!)

Limited Edition Palette!

The Suede Shadow Palette By NYX
I'm a huge fan of the NYX Cosmetics shadows! While looking around on their site I noticed they had a new palette called The Suede Shadow Palette and the colors seemed so beautiful...kinda reminded me of fall which is my favorite season. I then noticed it was limited edition so I placed my order immediately haha. I love how affordable it was at $12, plus I used the coupon code Welcome25 for 25% off! Here's a close up of the colors:
The Suede Shadow Palette By NYX
The colors are simply gorgeous! Lots of jewel tones and cool toned neutrals, a great mix of colors! Now most of these colors are metallic and a few have some flecks of shimmer in them, so no mattes which is a con. Its not a complete palette in that sense but the colors are worth it! Another con is the packaging... is a super lightweight cardboard that honestly feels cheap. But... the product is great so I guess I can overlook that haha. All the shades are smooth and highly pigmented. Here are the swatches:
The Suede Shadow Palette By NYX
I wished the colors were named to make it easier to pick it up in single form so that's a bummer. My favorite colors are the 2nd and 4th one on the top row and the 3rd one on the bottom row. They would all make amazing lid shades! There wasn't much fallout and the colors didn't fade throughout the day.
Here's a look that I came up with! It's wearable smokey eye for the daytime.
The Suede Shadow Palette By NYX
Bottom line: If you're a metallic lover than this palette is a must have! I have the Cargo "Let's Meet in Paris" Eye Palette which was released during the holiday season and was also limited edition, this one seems to be dupe for it! It has many similar colors and finishes so if that was a palette you couldn't get before this one would be a great alternative!  If you're interested make sure to pick it up asap before its gone! :-)

Review: Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows!

New From Milani!

Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows
Lately I've been expanding my single shadows collection and giving my palettes a rest haha. I've been loving the Essence, NYX and Ulta shadows a lot lately! I was so excited about these new Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows when I saw them at CVS because I had no idea they were being released so it was a nice surprise! The display had about nine different colors but most of them were sold out. They retailed for $4.50ish each so super affordable! I only picked up these three and I've been searching high and low for the rest of them because the colors are amazing!

Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows
I just can't stop staring at them! The color and texture of these is stunning. Plus they look like a miniature version of their blushes and bronzers... so adorable! They don't come with any brushes or sponge applicators which is fine with me since I don't really use them. They have an indentation in the center of the shadow, fits my finger perfectly for the swatches haha. When swatching you barely need to swipe your fingers because they are that pigmented! They feel super smooth, almost like a pressed pigment but without fallout or crumbling. With that said I do feel like they swatch a lot better than they apply which is a bit disappointing. The brush doesn't seem to pick up the product too well so I've used my fingers when applying these. I don't mind but it's just a tad annoying for precision purposes. Here are the names/ finishes of the ones I chose:
Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows
Here are the swatches:
Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows
From left to right: Bella Navy, Bella Teal and Bella Espresso.
The navy color is my favorite! I've been playing around with it a lot lately. Here's one of the looks I came up with using these:
Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows

Bottom line: Aside from the application issue I would still highly recommend these! I'm sure if used wet using your brushes wont be a problem. Even dry it still applies but it just takes some time to build up the color which gets tedious. I have no problems using my fingers, I actually used them for the look above and just blended the edges with a brush! The formula itself is great and longwearing. For the price its definitely worth a try! :-)

Update: These are now available on the Milani website milanicosmetics.com for only $3.99! They offer free shipping over $25 so make sure to order a few... or all! haha ;-)

In addition, I used them wet today and they were amazing! That's how they work best! I've picked up some more colors so stay tuned for some more swatches! :-)
