Review: Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks!

NEW Liquid Lipsticks!

Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks
I took a break from liquid lipsticks for a bit but when Wet n Wild released their version I had to get a few! They released a new line called the Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks for only $4.99 each. The color section is amazing because they have tons of different shades from nudes to vampy shades. That's pretty impressive for the drugstore. I have five to share with you today, lets get started.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks
Packaging is really simple but still very cute! It's very similar to the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks. The applicator is really nice, it has a dent in the center where the product gathers making it easier to apply. Here are the shades I have:
Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks
*Rebel Rose
*Give Me Mocha
*Berry Recognize
*Video Vixen
*Goth Topic
Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks
The formula seems to be a hit or miss depending on the shade. Upon application these reminded me of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks because of the consistency. The formula is on the thinner side like Kat Von D's but... (BIG but) they are not as pigmented as those! Some colors went on patchy and needed a second layer. You can see what I mean in the pic above, Give Me Mocha went on a bit patchy but Rebel Rose went on great.

Bottom line: I give Wet n Wild two thumbs up for the color selection! Depending on the shade the formula can be patchy but if you don't mind layering these are great. They are comfortable and last pretty well. Try one out and see for yourself! :-)

Review: Marc Jacobs Beauty- Le Marc Liquid Lip Crème in Truth or Bare!

#LeMarc Liquid Lip Crème

Le Marc Liquid Lip Crème

Marc Jacobs is a brand I haven't tried much because it's pretty expensive. I own one of their Le Marc Lip Crème in Willful and I love it! Influenster chose me for their complimentary Marc Jacobs Le Marc Liquid Liquid Lip Crème Vox Box and I was so excited since the lipstick I tried was so nicely formulated! I received the color Truth Or Bare which is such a gorgeous dusty pink shade. To my surprise I also received the Marc Jacobs Beauty Poutliner Longwear Lip Pencil in Primrose which I wore under Truth or Bare. They were a match made in makeup heaven!

Let's get into some basic info before we start the review. The Le Marc Liquid Liquid Lip Crèmes retail for $28 and there's a total of 6 shades, all pretty neutral. They claim to be hydrating, longwearing and full coverage. I would definetely agree with all three claims. The formula looks and feels amazing! It's a creamy lacquer formula with amazing coverage that lasts so well! I wore it for about 5 hours and it didnt budge at all. It feels so moisturizing which is so refreshing after wearing matte lips for a while. It has a satin finish which in my opinion made my lips look fuller!

I would recommend to try one of these! It's pricey but you can put it on your loves list and wait for the next Sephora sale. The packaging feels luxurious and the formula is amazing so it might be worth a splurge! ;-)

Thanks +Influenster and +Marc Jacobs for sending me these products free for review! #LeMarc Liquid Lip Crème #Contest

Swatches: Jordana Halloween Sweet Cream Liquid Lip Colors! (Limited Edition!)

Cool Colors!

Jordana Halloween Sweet Cream Liquid Lip Colors
Jordana Cosmetics released a new Halloween Collection of their Sweet Cream Liquid Colors in eight shades! I have four shades to share with you and if you're interested in purchasing make sure to stop by Walgreens. They are limited edition and $4.99 each. These colors are bold and pretty darn cool!
Jordana Halloween Sweet Cream Liquid Lip Colors
I love the original formula of the Sweet Creams but I feel like these a bit different. Not sure if it has to do with the colors but they are very patchy and drying. They instantly felt dry on the lips and they didn't layer very well. Lets get into the lip swatches!
Jordana Halloween Sweet Cream Liquid Lip Colors

Bottom line: I love that Jordana released these funky colors! Kinda reminds me of some of the colors in the Kat Von D line but those are way better formula wise. Compared to the original Sweet Creams these aren't as comfortable and they don't go on as evenly. But if you're looking for something cool to complete a Halloween look definetely pick these up! They are limited edition so check out your Walgreens ASAP! :-)

Review: Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color!

#VividMatte

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color
Influenster sent me two of the Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Colors for review so that's exactly what I'm doing to day! :-) They retail for about $8 at most drugstores and there's a total of 10 shades in the line. I've worn Nude Flush and must say this formula is really different from what I was expecting.
Maybelline claims that it's a creamy formula with a velvety finish once dry. It's full color coverage with an intense, rich look. I definetely agree with the creamy formula claim. The finish is questionable because I don't feel like it actually dries down...ever! So although it's comfortable since it's not drying out your lips, it becomes messy and transfers! Maybelline does recommend to apply thin layers for a better outcome. Also, if you want an ultra-matte finish to blot with a tissue. I guess it's customizable but there's other liquid lipsticks that dry down and last without having to do all the extra things.
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color
The two colors I received are super pretty! Rebel Red is my favorite because the tone it's pretty darn perfect. The swatches above are right after application. They have a strong slightly floral scent (reminds me of the elixirs) that lingers for a bit but not all day.
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color
Here's what Nude Flush looks like after blotting it with tissue. It does make it more matte but it takes away from the color payoff and they just don't end up lasting.

Bottom line: The colors in the line are really pretty but the formula is not my favorite. For how vivid most colors in the line are the formula doesn't work because it transfers and it's not really matte. It's definetely a satin finish so if you're looking for that this product would be perfect! :-)

*Products mentioned in this post were sent for review by Influenster but all opinions are my own.

Review: Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Colors! (+ Swatches!)

Spring/Summer Shades!

Jordana Sweet Creams Matte Liquid Lip Colors
Brights = Spring & Summer right? RIGHT! Today I have a colorful review for you and it's all about the NEW Jordana Sweet Creams Matte Liquid Lip Colors! Jordana claims that these are a liquid to velvet formula that keeps the lips feeling comfortable and never dry. Big claims... lets get into the details! :-)

They retail for $4.99 which makes them the most affordable liquid lipsticks in my collection! You can find them at Walgreens, Kmart or if you're an online shopper like myself you can order directly from the Jordana website. There's 12 shades available on the site and all the shades look beautiful! I wanted some bright colors in my life, specially in the liquid form and these have proven to be great.
Jordana Sweet Creams Matte Liquid Lip Colors
The applicator is comfortable and helps with precision. They smell amazing, like vanilla frosting! It doesn't linger but it will leave you craving a cupcake haha. The formula reminds me of the Milani Amore Matte Lip Cremes... but better. They are sister companies which means they release very similar products but I've had better luck with the Jordana formula. They are very longwearing which is my biggest pro! I wore one on 6 hour road trip and it looked amazing till the very end!
Jordana Sweet Creams Matte Liquid Lip Colors
Here are the shades I have! Some brights and some nudes, overall super pretty shades! I will say they aren't consistent across the board. Raspberry Tart and Tiramisu went on nicely and opaque in one layer. Mixed Berry Souffle and Mango Sorbet were a little patchy but another layer did the trick. Creme Brulee was the patchiest but it's the lightest shade. They all layer beautifully in my opinion so I don't mind having to build them up. The dry down in seconds and then they stay put all day! :-)
Jordana Sweet Creams Matte Liquid Lip Colors

I'm a fan of this formula! They are comfortable and stay put which is what I look for in liquid lipsticks. The packaging is simplistic which is fine by me because the cost will stay low. You can't beat $4.99 and the color selection! Definetely give these a try and if you have let me know your thoughts down below!

Dupe Alert: Drugstore Alternative Of Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Exorcism!

Vampy For Less!

Drugstore Alternative Of Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Exorcism
Liquid lipsticks are pretty much ruling the world! I thought by now some new, innovative lip product would've taken over but every where I look a new liquid lipstick formula is being released. I personally love liquid lipsticks because they are so convenient... but I'm starting to miss the slip of a gloss haha. Anywho! Today's post is about a dupe I came across a few days ago. One of my great friends was over and so happened to try on the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Exorcism and she fell in love! I know $20 for a lipstick seems crazy for most people so I decided to look through my collection and I found a color that's very similar!
Drugstore Alternative Of Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Exorcism
Milani released their version of liquid lipsticks called Amore Matte Lip Creams which have been raved about a lot in the makeup world. I personally think it's a good formula for $9! I own two colors, a nude pink and this stunning burgundy shade. In all honesty the lipstick applied extremely patchy, it took about 3-4 layers to make it look like it does above. It's still not as even as I would like but the color itself is so similar to Exorcism! BTW: excuse the application on the right... the struggle is real when swatching one liquid lipstick after another haha.

Kat Von D liquid lipsticks are so long wearing and not drying which is why I would pay a little more to be worry free. The Milani formula lasts a good 5 hours but on my lips it begins to crumble and wears off from the inside out.

Two price points for similar colors, it's up to you which one to get! Milani is an amazing drugstore brand so definitely check out the liquid lipsticks and their other awesome products! :-)

Review: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks in Beso & Aria!

Stays All Day!

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks in Beso & Aria
A few months back I purchased the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks in Beso and Aria and I can't wait to tell you guys about them! :-) At that time they were 50% off but they retail for $22 each. I've tried my fair share of liquid lipsticks but I've always been curious about these. If I'm not mistaken Stila was one of the first brands to release liquid lipsticks so I just had to try the OG!
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks in Beso & Aria
Let's start off with the basics shall we? The applicator absorbs so much product which can create a messy situation. The formula is so opaque and definitely stays put! Patience is needed to make sure your lips look defined because once it's on it won't go anywhere. I wore it to work on Cinco de Mayo and even after stuffing my face with some delicious Mexican food it was still on... which is impressive! My lips didn't feel dry at all after wearing it all day! Here are the swatches:
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks in Beso & Aria
I would recommend to wear a lip liner (even a clear one!) with them to help make your lines sharper. Aria is a beautiful magenta plummy shade, one I'll be busting out during the fall time. Beso is a gorgeous retro-ish red. It's a classic shade and I love a good matte red lip!

Bottom line: This formula is the most long wearing I've tried in the liquid lipstick world thus far! I do feel like you can easily make a mistake upon application due to the wand gathering so much product. Any mistake is noticeable, you can definitely see them on my swatches above haha. I was swatching a ton of lippies that day so precision wasn't my priority :-P That's my only con. These are a go for me and can't wait to try out some of the new colors! :-)

Need it Or Leave it: L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss!

Matte Lips For Less!

L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss
L.A Girl has come out with a bunch of new and cool products like these Matte Flat Finish Pigment Glosses that I just needed to try! In a matte world ruled by Lime Crime, Dose of Colors and Anastasia Beverly Hills I needed an inexpensive alternative to satisfy my urge and keep my pockets full haha. I ordered mine from ikatehouse.com because they were discounted at $3.99 each when they retail for $5!
L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss
There's 16 shades to choose from, I decided to stick with the basics: a nude, a pink and a red! :-) When I first saw the glosses I was surprised because they are way bigger than I expected... which is a good thing! I was a little confused with the word "gloss" in the title because these are very matte. The consistency is just like the Sephora Luster Mattes, they take a minute or two to dry. They are comfortable and I didn't think they were drying at all! They last all day long which I love! The formula is pretty thin too, so thin that it doesn't feel like your not wearing anything but when you look in the mirror the color is super vibrant!
L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss
The wand is flat on both sides so application is pretty easy. I'm just so impressed by the pigment, one swipe and you're done! I do wish they had a more pleasant scent. They smell like makeup but the good thing is that it doesn't linger. Let's get into lip swatches!
L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss
*Dreamy- a pinky nude, a really lovely shade! This color is very flattering and definitely a fave!
*Timeless- a bright mauve pink, another great color. This one will be perfect for Spring and Summer! Must have! :-)
*Frisky- a vivid red with a slight hint of pink, so classic! A matte red is necessary in any collection and this is a great one!

Bottom line; For less than $5 you need these! The formula is a true matte but not drying. The color stays put all day with no budging or gathering. The rest of the colors are so beautiful, you'll definitely find a shade for you! :-)

Review: Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet! (Meteoric Matte & Burning Lava!)

Great Formula!

Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet! (Meteoric Matte & Burning Lava!)
Rimmel London is participating in the matte trend with their new Show Off Lip Velvet! I'm personally loving the matte trend and I'm on the search to find the best formula so I decided to give these a try :-) They're actually one of the most affordable in the market at about $5 each. There's five shades in the line and I have two to share with you!
They're packaged just like their lacquer formula but with a matte feel to them. The pigmentation is outstanding! In just one swipe you get bold, opaque color, such a fan of the formula! They are very similar to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams but with a bit more color pay off to them and (hurts to admit haha) more comfortable! The NYX ones are one of my faves in the matte lip cream department but I'm kinda surprised with these, in a good way!
Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet! (Meteoric Matte & Burning Lava!)
The applicator is pretty awesome, it has a little dent where the product settles, just enough to go around your lips once. I find that these don't actually dry to the fullest which helps with how comfortable they feel. They stay slightly emollient so your lips don't feel dry at all. That also becomes an issue because after a few hours the color tends to feather out the lip lines so it doesn't look as crisp as when your first applied. But these two colors are GORGEOUS! So the feathering doesn't bother me too much haha. I do recommend to wear a lip liner with them.
Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet! (Meteoric Matte & Burning Lava!)
Here are the swatches. The pigmentation is amazing, look how bright and vibrant they look! They last a good 6 hours. They feel so good on the lips and personally I think they make your lips look better and even! Lets get into lip swatches:
Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet! (Meteoric Matte & Burning Lava!)
*Meteoric Matte- a stunning berry shade, definetely a must have! Wears beautifully and feels even better on!
*Burning Lava- a bright red, classic color!

Bottom line: I'm obsessed with these! The price is unbeatable and they compare to highend lip creams I've tried that are triple price or more. The only thing you need to make these perfect is a lip liner to prevent the feathering... other than that these are a drugstore gem! I truly hope that they release a ton more colors because I love'em!  :-)

Review: Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Colors! (+ Swatches!)

Matte... But in Liquid Form!

Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Colors
Ladies and Gents (and more ladies haha) I present to you the Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Colors! :-) The Sephora Collection gets super overlooked but these managed to find the spotlight! I've had these for a few months now and have been enjoying them to the fullest. They are $16 at Sephora which is actually pretty affordable for being sold there. There's a nice range of colors, plenty that are perfect for the upcoming season. I decided on these two, Mulberry and Fig and here are my thoughts!
Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Colors
First off the applicator is pretty interesting, it's a flat on both sides to help with a smoother application. BUT... it applies SO much product! You need to make sure you wipe some off before wearing it. The claims on this product is that it has a matte finish with a subtle sheen. It claims to also nourish your lips instead of drying them out. I noticed that the finish is described accurately. For the most part it's matte but you can see a little shine. They never set though which helps with the hydration but also makes this product transfer on everything! I found that it lasted about 3-4 hours which is pretty good. It felt nice but also a little bit heavy so I highly recommend to blot and try to apply thin coats.
Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Colors
The pigmentation is amazing though! The tiniest bit is all you need to get a full application but the applicator makes it so difficult to do that. Being that it's flat on both sides it's kinda hard to get some precision and it just gets messy really quick. You do need patience with this product to make sure it looks good haha. Here are the lip swatches:
Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Colors
*Fig Luster- a neutral pink, really pretty everyday shade! In the tube it has shimmer but you can't see it when you wear it.
*Mulberry Luster- a BRIGHT reddish pink... gorgeous!!

Bottom line- I feel that even with the minor flaws it's still a pretty good product! I wish the formula would set so I wouldn't have to worry about the color transferring on everything. But it's pretty obvious that the pigmentation is awesome so if it wears away you just dab a little back on and you're good to go. It does require maintenance so that's something to consider. I guess it's preference thing. :-)

Review: Too Faced Melted Kisses Set! (Holiday 2014!)

Amazing Value!

Review: Too Faced Melted Kisses Set! (Holiday 2014!)
I haven't seen a holiday set cuter than this one by Too Faced! It's called the Melted Kisses Set which comes with four deluxe sizes of the liquified long wear lipsticks for only...*drum roll please* $25! I wanted share this set + some swatches in case you've been eyeing it because it's an amazing value! One full size of the liquified long wear lipsticks is $21 so this set is the perfect way to try out a few of the colors for a few bucks more. I've fallen in love with shades I didn't think I would at first glance and I'm sure you will too!
Review: Too Faced Melted Kisses Set! (Holiday 2014!)
Here are the minis, so adorable right? Just in case you don't own one of the lipsticks already let me tell why the are an A+ product: a little goes a long way, they have a sponge tip applicator which makes application so smooth and they last all day! It's such a well formulated product and one I highly recommend.
Review: Too Faced Melted Kisses Set! (Holiday 2014!)
Melted Fig is my all time favorite shade from the line. Here's the comparison of the full size compared with the deluxe size. These minis will last you forever! I've used Melted Fig so much and haven't even made a dent haha.
Review: Too Faced Melted Kisses Set! (Holiday 2014!)
They go on glossy at first but within seconds they dry to a matte finish. But no worries, they are very comfortable on the lips and don't dry them out one bit! Lets get into some lip swatches:
Review: Too Faced Melted Kisses Set! (Holiday 2014!)
*Melted Nude- a peachy nude, this color actually surprised me! I love it! I'm not the biggest nude wearer but this color pairs so well with smokey eye and doesn't wash me out.
*Melted Peony- a light creamy pink, really pretty! I'd see this one becoming a favorite for many people! Me? I love the brights which are next!
Review: Too Faced Melted Kisses Set! (Holiday 2014!)
*Melted Fuchsia- a bright hot pink, gorgeous shade! I actually sold my full size I had in this shade because I wanted more berry lippies but I'm happy to have it again, love it! Great Spring/Summer shade.
*Melted Berry- a berry-red shade, stunning! I purchased the set mainly for this color and it didn't let me down! Great holiday shade!

Bottom line: If you were to purchase a holiday set I would recommend this one in a heartbeat! Its such a great deal and you'll definitely find an occasion to wear the colors in the set, whether it be everyday or a night out! Too Faced is currently having a friends and family sale, you can actually get 20% off the site including this set which makes it only $20! Make sure to check it out, Too Faced has some amazing products that are worth every penny. :-)

Must Haves: Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fig!

Perfect Fall Shade!

Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fig
I'm so ready for fall! Plum and berry lips... my favorite look of all time! When I saw that Too Faced released new colors to their Melted line I knew I needed this one in Melted Fig. These retail for $21 at Sephora, Ulta and toofaced.com so it's kinda up there in price but it's completely worth it! I first purchased Melted Fuchsia a few months ago and loved it. It's the perfect spring/summer shade but... I was eyeing the deeper more fall appropriate shades. I was debating between this one and Melted Berry but Melted fig won my heart! :-)
Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fig
What I love about the Melted Lipsticks is their sponge-tip applicator! It's so easy to apply and so comfortable on the lips. I little of the lippie goes a long way so this will last you a long while. I guess $21 in the long run isn't too bad right? haha. The color goes on with a shine at first but then dries to a matte finish. My lips felt really moisturized throughout the day despite the matte finish. It doesn't dry out your lips at all and the color stays looking amazing for a good 5 hours before you have to touch up. Once it sets it doesn't transfer which is a plus! Here's the swatch:
Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fig
It's a gorgeous midtone plummy pink. This is just one swipe so the pigmentation is amazing. I did notice that once it dried it turned a bit darker but that wasn't an issue, I still loved it! Here's a lip swatch:
Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fig
This is going to be my staple fall shade! I just can't get enough! ;-)

Bottom line: From the Melted line I think this color would look amazing on so many skin tones so I highly recommend it! The formula is perfection: creamy, opaque and moisturizing so it's a must have. I actually found some affordable alternatives that I will be posting soon so stay tuned for that! But if you're looking for a long lasting matte lipstick this is the one for you! :-)

Review: Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick!

Newest Lip Product From Too Faced!

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick
Too Faced is quickly becoming one of my favorite high-end makeup brands! I've been giving many of their products a try lately and haven't been disappointed thus far! Even though they are on the high end spectrum their prices aren't too unreasonable. So on my most recent stroll through Sephora I noticed the display they had of all the beautiful "melted" shades but this one in Melted Fuchsia spoke to me! They retail for $21 each so I'm sure you'll understand why I only chose one haha. But I'm super happy for this purchase because it's a great product!
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick
The packaging is really pretty and convenient as well! It's a squeeze tube but what sets it apart is the sponge tip applicator that doesn't let all the product gush out at once. I've reviewed the L.A Girl Glazed Lip Paints recently which were said to be comparable to the Too Faced ones. Make sure to check out that review and swatches of the colors that I chose! The packaging was practically identical to this one but sadly its not an exact dupe. They are both outstanding lip products but just not the same formula. Although the Too Faced site claims that these have the high shine of a gloss I don't agree with that. When you first apply it you notice a nice glossy finish that fades throughout the day. So it leaves a beautifully matte stain on the lips without being drying which is why I give this product an A+! Here's a swatch compared to one of the similar colors in the L.A Girl line:
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick
On the left is the Too Faced lippie and on the right the one from L.A Girl. The Too Faced one is definitely opaque in one stroke and initially has the glossy finish. The title "melted lipstick" is spot on because it applies like a creamy lipstick. The L.A Girl one is more of a gloss formula so it provides high shine but more of a slippery feeling so it lacks in the longevity department. Here's what Melted Fuchsia looks like on the lips:
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick
It's a gorgeous true hot pink color that would look amazing on anyone! I knew that I wanted to invest on a color that was wearable yet bold so this one is perfect! It's long lasting and even though the gloss fades your lips are surprisingly still moisturized.

Bottom line: For the price I think you should give the Too Faced Melted Lipstick a try because the formulation is amazing! If you can splurge I would because with Too Faced you don't have to worry about the fuss of constantly reapplying since it leaves a beautiful stain behind. L.A Girl has the similar product but it is more of a gloss so it depends on what you prefer. Just for reference the L.A Girl glosses retail for only $4 so if your wanting vibrant color but not a hefty price tag give those a try! For a full review on those click here! :-)

Review: L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks!

Lipstick + Gloss in One!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks
Two in One products are a bit iffy sometimes. The first thing that comes to mind is the 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioners sold at the drugstore... those are horrible haha. Im happy to say that these L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks are amazing and liptick + gloss combo works really well! They are pigmented, smooth and really glossy...leaving your lips looking plumped! They have all sorts of colors; reds, pinks, corals and nudes. For the most part they are all cream finishes, my favorite! They are similar to the YSL Glossy Stains which are about $35 at Sephora but these are only $10 at your local drugstore.
The packaging is gorgeous! It's gold with a little enamel window displaying the color inside. It has sponge tip wand in an oval shape that gets out the right amount of product each time. Liquid Lipsticks is the perfect way to describe these. L'Oreal came out with something similar before but it was more of a stain, these on the other hand are high in pigmentation with a glossy finish. Now... the glossy aspect of it makes the product not the most long lasting. Within 2 hours you're gonna have to reapply but for the color payoff you get I don't mind.
I chose 2 of the brighter shades and here are the swatches:
L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks
From left to right:
*Fuchsia Orchestra- Bright Fuchsia Pink, love it!
*Coral Encore- Bright Coral, really pretty!

Bottom line: I would recommend these in a heart beat! They are rich in color and really smooth. They glide on like buttah haha. They are not super long lasting but that's ok, normally glosses don't tend to be. If bright colors aren't your thing definitely check some of the nudes and mauves in the line. I'm dieing to purchase some other colors but I'm waiting for a good sale since they are a bit higher in price. :-)

Review: Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color!

Bright & Beautiful!

Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color
I'm so excited about these Milani Lip Intense Liquid Colors! They are quickly becoming my new favorite liquid lipstick/gloss. Milani has come out with a few new products: eyeliner, blushes, glosses, stains and nail polish for spring 2014! I love it when brands release new lines for the season and Milani never disappoints. I ordered a few things from milanicosmetics.com that I will be reviewing soon once I get a chance to try them out. But... as soon as I got my package these stood out to me and I just had to test them out immediately!
Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color
I'll start off by saying that I love the packaging. It's not bulky and the gold accents are growing on me. I really like the shape of it too, definitely makes it stand out! The wand is also really great. It's a flat rectangular sponge tip so its perfect for precise application. I was able to outline my lips without a problem. The line has 4 colors to choose from and I'm kinda sad I didn't order them all at once (to save on shipping! haha) I chose 2 colors that I knew for sure I would wear. They are $6.49 each so it can get a bit pricey if your buying 2or 3. They are available online and at your local drugstore! Here are the swatches on my lips:
Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color
On the left is "Fiery Coral" and on the right is "Pink Rave". Don't they look amazing? Milani claims that its highly pigmented with the shine of a gloss and the longevity of a lipstick... and I completely agree! The formula is thin which is something I didn't expect. Normally liquid lipsticks are on the thicker side to the point where you can feel them. These on the other hand are a nice thin formula and really comfortable on the lips. Its crazy pigmented too! The opacity you see in the pictures took only one swipe across the lips. I'm just in aw with the color payoff you get! They last a decent amount of time, about 4 hours before you have to reapply. It's a velvet matte finish, so it leaves a bit of a shine but doesn't move around once dry. It's not drying or super moisturizing, it simply feels really nice on!

Bottom line: I 100% recommend these lip colors! Like the name states... they are intense! I think its worth the price because they are really good. They have a nice sweet smell that isn't overpowering. Plus they colors are right up my alley, bright! Milani hit the jackpot with these liquid lip colors. It's the perfect combination between a gloss and a lipstick. I can't wait to use these in the spring and summer. My only complaint is that the line only has 4 colors. Hopefully Milani adds more colors soon! :-)
