Review: Covergirl Plumpify blastPro by Lashblast Mascara!

New From the Drugstore!

Covergirl Plumpify blastPro by Lashblast Mascara
I was in need of a new mascara and the Covergirl Plumpify Mascara caught me attention... I mean look at that massive wand! haha. I was so intrigued but it retails for $12 which made me think twice about it. I managed to catch it on sale for $8 and bit the bullet then. So far I've been loving it! I know it looks scary but just like the mascara claims it adds tons of volume and separation which I'm so into! :-)

Here is the packaging, my favorite color combo so I'd say it's meant to be! ;-) The wand is so big and had a spikey top which is what scared me... I honestly thought it would poke my eye out. I'm glad to report that the size was just fine! Application was so easy and that spikey top was awesome for coating my bottom lashes. The formula layers so well too so you can definitely control the volume! It doesn't clump on me and it holds my curl all day. I like to pair it with the Maybelline Pushup Drama Mascara because I love how black that one is. I find this one not to be as deep as I like so the two together is perfection!

Here's what one coat of the Covergirl Plumpify Mascara looks like:

Bottom line: I love this mascara! I've always stuck with Maybelline when it comes to drugstore mascara but this Covergirl one is amazing! I wish it was it was a deeper black, I do have very black... maybe there's a deeper one? IDK, but what I do know is that I highly recommend this mascara! :-)

Review: Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara!

New At The Drugstore!

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
I haven't tried a new mascara in what seems like forever! As soon as I saw this packaging I was sold haha. The Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara is about $8 at the drugstore and claims to lift the lashes while adding volume with a new plumping formula. Sounds pretty good right? Let's get into the review! :-)
Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
So there's no doubt that the packaging is pretty cool! So different and eye catching which is what you need in the drugstore world. The wand is unique, lots of tiny bristles which are meant to provide the volume for your lashes.

Here's what my lashes look like with two coats! On the site it says not to let the mascara dry between coats so I applied it one after another. It clumped up my lashes a bit making me look like I had less. It did add length and I love how black it is! You have to take some time to wiggle through your lashes to avoid major clumping but they do look voluminous. I adore how it looks on my lower lashes and I'd wear it with more dramatic looks! It's a bit too clumpy for my liking for everyday but it's not a bad formula. It's a wet formula so maybe when it dries a little I might change my mind. We'll see! ;-)

Bottom line: If you like the spidery look this would be your match! It's definitely worth a try and it does amazing things for my bottom lashes! It holds your curl so well and it doesn't flake off like other mascaras. Thumbs up! :-)

Review: Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara!

New From Maybelline!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
After using the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara I thought I wouldn't find one I would enjoy equally as much (or more! haha) I've been trying out the NEW Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara for a few weeks now and I love it! It's about $6-$7 at your local drugstore which is an amazing price for how awesome this mascara is!

The packaging is so cute too! I love the pearly pink color.

The wand is perfection! It's a rubber bristle wand with a curvy shape which truly helps keep your lashes curled. The curvier side of the wand has longer bristles for adding length and the opposite side has shorter bristles which helps with adding volume. The formula is pretty wet compared to the Butterfly Mascara which I prefer because it coats your lashes easily and makes them look extremely black! Two coats is where I would draw the line before you get clump central haha. Once your done applying the mascara your lashes look so full, borderline false which I'm loving!

Here's what it looks like with two coats. I love that the wand makes coating your lashes from root to tip quick & simple!

Bottom line: If you're a fan of the L'Oreal Butterfly Mascara than definetely give this one a try! I love that it keeps my lashes curled the entire day and my lashes just look fuller and thicker... A+! Something to consider is that makeup remover wipes won't take this formula off, you need a good eye makeup remover but that speaks to the longevity of the mascara. Have you tried it? If so leave me your thoughts down below! :-)

Review: L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Mascara!

Volume + Length!

L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Mascara
L'Oreal is winning if we're talking mascara game! All their new mascaras have been total hits for me and this upgrade on the Voluminous Butterfly Mascara is no exception! The packaging was what caught my attention, loved the red details and "Intenza" just sounded like something I needed to try haha. It's about $8 at your local drugstore which is pretty reasonable. Here's what the packaging looks like:
L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Mascara
I've heard so many people switching out the wands and using them with their favorite L'Oreal formula. From the Miss Manga mascara or the original Voluminous Butterfly you can switch things out to your liking! Simple idea but brilliant. :-)
L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Mascara
Here's what the wand looks like! It's a rubber bristle wand with bristles on all sides, pretty unique. On two sides the bristles are shorter, great for separation and coating your lashes. The other sides has longer bristles, perfect for adding length. It's a bit tricky to get the hand of it at first but after multiple uses I was able to master it haha. It does a great job at both volume and length and the formula is wonderful for keeping a curl. I did enjoy it more after a weeks or so, once the formula became a bit drier.

Bottom line: I really like this mascara! It's not one I love but it has its perks. Compared to the Voluminous Butterfly it does add more color to your lashes but it doesn't fan them out like the original one. That's something I definitely missed. But if you're looking for good volume and great length this is one worthy of picking up! It's affordable and gets the job done. :-)

Review: L'Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara!

Manga Effect Mascara!

L'Oreal came out with this new mascara called the Voluminous Miss Manga and I couldn't pass it up! The packaging is adorable and who wouldn't love to have their lashes look like the cartoon? haha. I purchased mine at CVS for $7.99 so it's not expensive at all. The main focus on this mascara is volume and I was actually surprised with the outcome!
But before we get into that let's take a look at the packaging. Nothing too out there but still pretty and sleek!
What instantly caught my attention was the brush. It has the weirdest shape, kinda like a cone, attached to an ultra flexible wand. The flexibility is great to get into the hard to reach corners so that was a plus for me! I won't lie though, when I first glanced at the brush I thought that I would end up with spider lashes and that's something I try to avoid. The bristles collect so much product (so it seems) but when I used it I was pleasantly surprised! The application was clump free and the volume was really noticeable. It coats all your lashes without making them stick together and your lashes look fuller and flirty. Here's what the wand looks like:
With just one coat I got really voluminous lashes that stayed that way throughout the day. My lashes didn't flake nor did they feel too stiff so the formula is amazing! At the end of the day it was also easy to remove. I'm really impressed with L'Oreal recently! Their newer mascaras have turned out to be hits for me. The Butterfly mascara is one of my all time favorites and this one is quickly moving up the list.

Bottom line: I really enjoyed this mascara! I noticed that it made a huge difference on my lashes and they looked fuller after the application. It didn't provide extreme length but my lashes are on the longer side so that didn't bother me. The shape of the brush is pretty unique, I was scared of it at first but after giving it a try I love it! Make sure to pick this mascara up next time you're at the drugstore. :-)
