Must Haves: Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powders! ( Precious Petals & Crown of My Canopy)

New at the Drugstore!

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powders
Wet n Wild killed it when they released these NEW Megaglo Highlighting Powders! I was searching high and low for these and I couldn't find them anywhere. Luckily my friend found them and was nice enough to purchase them for me... you're awesome! I saw a post on instagram confirming that they will be back in stock by the end of July so what better time than to post my review? ;-)

These retail for $4 each ( best $4 you will ever spend btw!) and can be found at most drugstores. Both shades are super gorgeous! They have such a smooth formula that makes application easy breezy. It's also a buildable product so depending on your mood your can wear it very subtle or blinding haha.

Precious Petals is the champagne shade and Crown of My Canopy is more of a rose-gold highlight. I actually use the rose-gold one as a blush topper because it's a little too dark to be a highlight on my skintone and I love it! Precious Petals is very similar to Becca's Opal which is awesome since Wet n Wild is a fraction of the price!
Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powders
I've tested out both of these and as far as longevity goes they last pretty well! Another thing I love about these is how well they melt into your skin. The last thing you want is a streak of highlight that doesn't blend.

Keep your eyes peeled for these when they become available again! They are worth every cent and if the packaging didn't say Wet n Wild they would easily pass as a higher end product! :-)

Review: Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadows! (Swatches + Look!)

Liquid Metals!

Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadows
Metallic shadows are my ultimate favorites!! Anything that looks foiled on the eye I gravitate towards and will try without a doubt. Jordana Cosmetics recently released a NEW line called Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadows and the ones I've tried are everything! The formula is said to be a liquid shadow that melts on the lids with a crease proof and water resistant formula. They live up to their claims because the formula is amazing! They retail for $5 at most drugstores which is so affordable. I've tried two so lets get into the details.
Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadows
I purchased Immortal Metal which is a green shade and Not a Wink Pink which is a coppery rose gold. Right off the bat I noticed a little bit of this product will go a long way. The applicator collects a lot of product so you have to be careful not to use too much. Once you get it on your eyes it looks so good! It's ultra metallic and reflective and I love that! I tend to use my finger to make sure I apply it evenly and it stays put ALL DAY LONG!
Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadows
It does dry within a few minutes so you do have time to use other shadows to help blend any rough edges. But once it sets it sets. I wore Not a Wink Pink for a full work day and dinner after with the hubby and it didn't crease one bit. I was so impressed and couldn't wait to share my review with you guys!
Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadows
Here are the swatches! It may not look like much swatched but trust me when I say it looks stunning on the eyes!

Bottom line: I highly recommend this line! It's affordable and so longwearing which is what I need now that the summer time is upon us. If you love metallic shadows like I do definetely give these a try! :-)

Review: Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color!

#VividMatte

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color
Influenster sent me two of the Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Colors for review so that's exactly what I'm doing to day! :-) They retail for about $8 at most drugstores and there's a total of 10 shades in the line. I've worn Nude Flush and must say this formula is really different from what I was expecting.
Maybelline claims that it's a creamy formula with a velvety finish once dry. It's full color coverage with an intense, rich look. I definetely agree with the creamy formula claim. The finish is questionable because I don't feel like it actually dries down...ever! So although it's comfortable since it's not drying out your lips, it becomes messy and transfers! Maybelline does recommend to apply thin layers for a better outcome. Also, if you want an ultra-matte finish to blot with a tissue. I guess it's customizable but there's other liquid lipsticks that dry down and last without having to do all the extra things.
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color
The two colors I received are super pretty! Rebel Red is my favorite because the tone it's pretty darn perfect. The swatches above are right after application. They have a strong slightly floral scent (reminds me of the elixirs) that lingers for a bit but not all day.
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color
Here's what Nude Flush looks like after blotting it with tissue. It does make it more matte but it takes away from the color payoff and they just don't end up lasting.

Bottom line: The colors in the line are really pretty but the formula is not my favorite. For how vivid most colors in the line are the formula doesn't work because it transfers and it's not really matte. It's definetely a satin finish so if you're looking for that this product would be perfect! :-)

*Products mentioned in this post were sent for review by Influenster but all opinions are my own.

Swatches: Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks!

My New Vice!

Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks
If you haven't heard Urban Decay reformulated, repackaged and is releasing 100 lipsticks! Yup. It's happening haha. Urban Decay is calling them the Vice Lipsticks which is the perfect name because I know I'm gonna get addicted! ;-)
The 100 lipsticks are made up of new and old shades in six different finishes. I was so excited when I checked my mail the other day and I had a gift from Ulta. They sent me a sample card with 24 of their favorite shades! It was divided into three color groups: Purple-Pinks, Red-Oranges and Nude-Pinks. I decided to swatch the nude-pink colors today so you can see what some of the colors look like. Let's get into the swatches!
Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks
Here are the color descriptions:
Conspiracy- (metallized) a plum bronze shimmer. Such a cool, dimensional shade! I'm considering getting the full size because it's so unique. I didn't feel any shimmer on my lips.

Rapture-(cream) a dusty rose. This color was part of the revolution line which I already own. It's a beautiful shade, great for everyday.

Amulet- (metallized) a metallic brick rose. This color had some dimension but it wasn't as metallic as Conspiracy. I didn't find the color too flattering on me.

ZZ- (cream) a soft pink-purple. I love this one!! It was so creamy and so pigmented. The color is stunning and I already ordered the full size haha.

Naked- (cream) a nude-pink. This color is very essential because it pairs so well with any makeup look. It was also part of the revolution line.

Backtalk- (comfort matte) a mauve-nude pink. This is a comfort matte formula which is suppose to be Urban Decay's creamiest matte and it's right on. It went on so nicely and it felt very comfy and thin but with great color payoff.

Stark Naked- (comfort matte) a light nude. Very comfortable but definetely not a shade I gravitate towards. It looks too concealer-y for my liking.

Gubby- (metallized) a frosted light pink. This one went on fairly sheer. I find it to be more of mixing shade or a lip topper because it doesn't look like much alone.

Hope these swatches were helpful! I'm giving my lips some TLC after all these lip swatches haha. I'm thinking about swatching the other colors in the sample card so stay tuned for that. I'm so excited for this new Vice line and these will be $17 which is more affordable than the old lipsticks and when compared to other brands at Ulta. Definetely check them out! :-)

Swatches: NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipsticks! (New Shades!)

Swatch Fest!

NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipsticks
Today I'll be sharing swatches of some of the new NYX Butter Lipsticks shades! This lippie formula is one of my favorites and I appreciate the variety in color NYX offers! If you haven't tried this line you are missing out. It's such a creamy formula with awesome pigmentation. If you're over the liquid lipstick trend definetely give these a try because they are so comfortable! They retail for $6 at Ulta which is such a great price.
NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipsticks
Something to note about the formula is that since they are so creamy they tend to feather out your lip lines. Just make sure to line your lips beforehand to prevent that. I've seen brands come out with universal lip liners which is so convenient when you have some out of the ordinary lipstick colors haha. Let's get into the swatches!
NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipsticks
If I had to pick some stand out colors I would pick Vacation Spot, Ripe Berry & Heat Wave (which would be gorgeous for summer!).

Have you tried any of the new shades? Which are your favorite? Leave me a comment down below! :-)
